Carrots!

Carrots...carrots...and more carrots! Ty finished his trial with sweet potatoes and has now moved on to carrots.

He liked them as you can probably tell from these pictures.

Isn't this one so funny?! I just love it. Ty's daddy fed him *obviously since he picked the "I love my dad" bib* lol! Dad and baby managed to have carrots from Ty's collar all the way down to his feet...even with the bib.

I'm going to add more tomorrow guys...sorry, I was actually doing really good on remembering everything but I have such a splitting headache it's making me naseated! pray for me! I think I'll make a quick bulleted list so I won't forget what I wrote about the first time.

New Mom's Tip: The swing we got for Ty (Danny bought it for him) is the Fisher Price Baby Papasan swing! It swings front to back and side to side which I love. What I don't love is that the mobile. The leaves and butterflys stick straight out and he hasn't even been able to notice them till lately. Also, the colors are drab and babies LOVE bright colors, so I wish I would have gone with the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium swing. It's really bright and the mobile is easy to see!

Okay...last but not least, I'm still trying to remember everything I forgot to say from the LOST to cyberspace post...Anyway, Ty and I thought that since it was such a lovely day outside that we would take a walk up to Grandanny's house! Even though is was quite a big windy we had a great walk and throughly enjoyed being outdoors!

Hmm...I think that's all now! haha

Awww. I love those first feeding pics. I have a ton of them for Kayle.... I never fed my girls carrots though - I had a hard time making my kids try stuff I don't like. Well no I didn't have a hard time, cuz I just plain didn't do it! hahaha I still won't make them eat anything I won't eat!
Way to go TY!!! He's doing so good - what a big boy!
Love and miss you, Kentucky family!!

Ha!! Jessica...Don't let that hubby of your's feed the little laddie too many carrots.
We had a mother in our church who's little baby just LOVED carrots and when her mama kept giving them to her every day because she LOVED them so much, little baby Debbie's skin turned quite a nice shade of orange!!
And this is TRUE story!!
I wonder if mama had of fed her too much spinach if the little darling would have turned green?!! Yuk!!

Love Terry

PS Jessica you coward...afraid of little birdies!! Ha!
I responded to your comment on my blog!

Hi Ty..Don't worry little buddy about what Auntie Rache said..That is only peach fuzz on your tiny little face NOT a full beard or red mustache!

Rachel, lol on the beard thing! haha

WOW Amber...those cans of formula are EXPENSIVE too! One of the wonders of breastfeeding. We buy supplemental cans of formula...he's almost 6 months old and I think we're finally on our 4th can of formula. I hope she starts taking her cereal for you.

Amanda, I tasted the carrots and the sweet potatoes...neither were bad. He seems to love them..if he acts like he hates them, then there's not point in force feeding it to him, but he liked them! haha

Terry, I have a friend whose little girl is orange too from carrots. And then my other friend, Amanda, said that her girls didn't pick up the pigment from the veggies. Ty hasn't either so far and he's been eating sweet potatoes and carrots for 4 days now. I would guess if he was going to start turning orange, he would have started by now. I'll keep a watch though!
And yes, I am scared of birds. :)
