Crazy Hats

Ty's crazy hat! Isn't it just too cute??? I love it! Mom was just sure Ryan wouldn't like it and would probably kill me for buying it, but he does like it! I knew he would, he thinks it looks like a little court jester's hat. I agree! Plus, it's warm and toasty on top of adorable!!!

Our Family

I thought it was high time I add a picture of our little family! I just love the family that God has blessed me with! It's SO awesome! Ty has his new snowsuit and his new crazy hat! =)
And...yes...Ryan is officially growing his hair back! Three cheers!!!!!!!! Hip hip Hooray! Hip hip Hooray! Hip hip Hooray!
Mom and dad drove over for a visit this past weekend! I always love when they come to see me...*or do they just come to see Ty now?* hmmm...haha! Dad went duck hunting with Ryan for his first time. Ryan got a banded duck and was SO excited. For those who don't know, a banded duck is one that has been captured before and a silver band placed on it's leg. They have a number to call if you kill one of them, so you can get a certificate of where and when the duck was banded. Sometime, the bands have cash rewards on them!
Mom, Ty, and I went shopping while the guys were out hunting and had a blast! It's been FOREVER since I've gotten to shop so I really had a big time! I went through the Children's Place store while mom sat out on one of the mall benches to feed Ty while he sat in his stroller. Once I came out, she said matter-of-factly, "I fed Ty his two jars of food." To this I gave my shocked reply, "TWO jars??? He only eats one jar at a sitting. I brought the other one just in case we were out for long." Mom just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well, he must have been hungry." *uh...I think he hoodooed Grandma!*
Friday night, Deanna, Ty, and I went to a children's Christmas play that Andrea's church hosted. It was really cute. The title was "Angel's Aware." The kids did a fabulous job and at the close, Andrea, Deanna, Joce, Ty, and I went out to eat together at Pizza Hut. We had a wonderful time! It was nice getting out of the house for a while.

The First Flood of Ty "Foto's"

Yes...that's real straw in his mouth, and no, we didn't make him pose like that. He wouldn't sit down...he kept standing up and leaning over to grab the straw off the ground and we couldn't get a good picture so I told her to just give him a piece and that's exactly what he did with it. He grabbed it, stuck it in his mouth, sat down, and she snapped the shot!
This one is his Aunt. Andrea's favorite! I love it too! I think he has a super flirty look on his face..."yeah girls, I know I'm cute!" And yes sir! He sure is!!!
Mom thinks that this one looks like it was taken back in the depression times. =) I think he looks like a little paper boy about to yell "Extra, extra, read all about it!"
Last but not least...not least at all...there's two other picture posts below this one...haha...
Ty, bless his heart, has got...*drum roll*...FOUR TEETH! His little nose is running and he's been coughing to beat the band. And let me tell you, I now know the meaning of the word FUSSY!
fuss·y - [fuhs-ee] –adjective, fuss·i·er, fuss·i·est.
1. excessively busy with trifles; anxious or particular about petty details.
2. hard to satisfy or please
Uh, #2 seems to be the best fit with how I would describe him right now. We bought some easy dissolve tablets that will numb his achy gums. So hopefully he'll be feeling at least a little better with those.
Ryan and I are doing splendid! He has continued to work diligently in our room! I am beside myself to move into it! It has almost been a year since we've had a bedroom! *SHOCK!* That's what happens though when you decide to remodel and are low on funds ...you do what you can, when you can. It's going to look awesome and I think it will also be a GREAT get away for us. I'm sure we'll appreciate our room SO much more since we've gone so long without one. God certainly has a way of teaching patience and thankfulness!

The Second Surplus of Ty Snapshots!

Ty sitting in his Great-Papaw Gid's lap!
Don't you just LOVE that look on his face! I do! It's one, if not my most favorite of all the pictures because it's just so him!!!
Ug...don't they make him look older though? *sniff* My baby is growing up on me!

The Conclusion of Ty Clips!

This is Ty with his new sippy cup! It has a complete silicone top on it and is still NO SPILL! He has been SO funny to watch with it. I think he likes having the control of when and when it doesn't go into his mouth. Look at his little nose...it's smooshed up on the cup! haha
This is Ty showing off his sippy cup for you! Good job Ty!
Poor sleepy baby...Derik was cuddling him like a little baby, but Ty squirmed around until his face was mushed into Derik's arm. Then, he fell right to sleep!
This one is of Ty on Sunday when we got home! It was SO cold outside that Ryan took his coat off and wrapped Ty all up in it. So, this is Ty all cuddled up in his daddy's coat! You can tell by his little eyes that he doesn't feel too good right now. I think he has a touch of what Ryan and I still have lingering on, plus the effects of having his teeth coming in adds to it as well!

It's much more fun in the sink!!!

Ty got to enjoy his first bath "IN" the sink! He LOVED how he got to splash water all over the place! I was drenched by the time we were through.
Cousin Derik helped with his bath. It took two of us considering that he still needs a little support when he's sitting...especially in slippery water! =)
Here's Ty eating his cup that he got to play with during bath time!
Haha...I think these pics are SO funny!
Well, our bedroom construction seems to really be coming along these days! I mentioned to Ryan the other day that I really had had high hopes of being in our room by Christmas and that I was so disappointed that it looked like it wasn't going to happen, and he's been in there almost everyday since then working SO hard! What an AWESOME husband! Thanks sweetheart!!!
BY THE WAY!!! Ty now has 3 teeth!

Napping...Uncle Dusty Style

Hello all!!! WE survived the Thanksgiving holidays...it was the after thanksgiving holidays that we've been having trouble with! Sorry that it's been FOREVER since I've posted! Ryan, Ty, and I have all been sick as little dogs and I haven't felt like getting on here and posting till today!
I have a TON of pics to post so you'll have to bear with me while I get them all on here! I'm going to bombard you with TY!
The pics here are after Dusty rocked Ty to sleep...he put him in the crib for me. When I went to check on him later I just had to run and get my camera and take a few pics of what Dusty did! Isn't that just cute? He wrapped that stuffed cat's little arm around Ty.
Here's how our Thanksgiving trip went:
- TUESDAY - Ryan, Ty, and I left out for mom and dads!!! Ty was an angel on the drive there! He slept almost the entire time! AND once we got there...he ended up sleeping through the night for me! YIPEE! Don't worry...it just lasted that one night. lol...
- WEDNESDAY - Ryan went hunting with dad and I went over to Jodi and Ryan's house and held little Breanna ALL afternoon *gloat gloat* haha...She's a little doll! That night after church, they had a baby shower for little Breanna, and I hogged her most of the time down there too! haha...well I don't get to see her like the rest of them do so I don't feel bad one little bit!
- THURSDAY - Thanksgiving day was a blast! There were 85 of us and Aunt Deanna's house! All we did was eat and mill around from room to room and fellowship with everyone ALL day long!!! It was great..I wouldn't miss it for the world.
- FRIDAY - Mom, Ty, Jennifer, Kelsey (my sister and niece), and I drove up to northern Ohio to see my Grandma and family!! They had all come over to Grandma's house and we ended up staying up late and getting to get a GOOD visit in with them! Uncle Ron, Aunt Mary, Courtney, Conner, Alex, and Aunt Jeannie all came over! I felt like it was the best thanksgiving yet because of getting to see BOTH sides of my family all in one weekend!
- SATURDAY - Very sad...we buried Uncle Jim today...that was hard. Then we went back to Grandma's and I got to see my Aunt Pat and also my cousin Bobby. We ate lunch and drove BACK home to mom's. Mind you...with stops and all included it's a good six hour drive! Ty did AWESOME! Poor little Kelsey had one break down. She was starving and was in the pits of dispair because we wouldn't stop and get her food. (she wouldn't eat what they had at Grandma's)
- SUNDAY - Church! We had wonderful services...they had me sing "Under His Wings" and sign along with it! Thanks to Ryan (Jo's husband) for playing the piano for me!!! Bro. Donald and Sis. Blanche came down to the house afterwards and ate with us...we stayed for a long time then packed up and headed for home!
To say the least, we had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving.
By the way...pray for Ryan's mom's side of the family...his grandmother passed away early last week.
Welp! All for now...more to come later! Thanks for all your prayers! We seem to be on the uphill climb to recovery now! Love to all! Jessica
