Random Thoughts for the Day

Well, another day has now passed. Can someone please come and take care of Ty while I do a clean sweep of my house? Someone...anyone??? Seems like sometimes I can't get a thing done during the day. Ty has been very fussy today and by this evening after we called the nurse line we resolved the problem and he's all better now. Poor guy.

Ryan, Ty and I all went for a nice long walk this evening. Ty got to ride in his new "Caddy" of a stroller and Ryan and I took turns pushing. It was such a nice evening for a walk but I was sure exhausted by the time we got home.

On a rather HORRID note...I had one of the worst experiences of my life last night when I got in our vehicle to ride home and felt something run up my neck. I swiped at it thinking it only to be my over-active imagination. To my horror (it's past dark now mind you and hard to see) I saw something run across my lap, so I swiped at it again. As soon as I did I felt it run down and back up my leg. In a panic (we were now backed out into the middle of the road) I jumped out of the vehicle doing my heebee-jeebee dance trying to rid myself of any creepy crawlys when we saw IT!!! A HUGE BROWN SPIDER!!!! AHHHH...On the floor board of my side ran an enormous brown spider...I still get the willys and can feel it running up my neck at this very moment. Ryan killed it and told me to get back in the car...which proceeded to be a 2 minute argument over I was NOT getting back in THAT car and have something else crawl on me to which he argued that he had DEFINETLY killed the spider and there was nothing to be afraid of. Well...I beg to differ! If it had run up his neck and leg, he wouldn't have wanted to get back in either.

So, I guess that's my excuse for getting nothing done today...I was recooperating from my trauma!

Tomorrow, Ty and I will be heading to the store to buy the paint for our kitchen! VERY exciting! Once we get everything done, I'll be adding some finished pictures of our cute little white house so all can see. Ryan still has to put Ty's pictures and letters up on his room walls then I'll get some of his room on here. It's just adorable.

I know this is the FOREVER long blog but I have just one last thing...Jo...if you're reading...I'm going through all my baby stuff and I'm fixing up a BIG box to bring you if you're interested! It's going to be a conglomeration of a bunch of stuff, from diapers to clothes to who knows what else!!! You'll have to let me know if you want it!

A Ticker for Bubby

I thought I'd make little Bubby a ticker for his age so we could all keep up with it! Isn't that turtle just the cutest thing. Bubby and I went for a nice long walk in his new stroller! He cooed and looked around the whole way. It was such a pretty evening for it.

Also, you might have noticed the new look around the place! *wink wink* I thought it was time...the other was kinda dark and I really like the green. I thought it went well with Bubby's little turtle ticker.

For those of you whose heads aren't hooked on crooked, I thought I'd send a picture of this right side up. haha!!! 

Bubby's NEW swing!

Would you believe, Bubby's new swing is called a baby papasan! I didn't even know what a papasan was until yesterday. Apparently it is one of those completely round chairs that you can lounge around in. His swing chair is a papasan. Funny huh??? He absolutely LOVES it! It has 6 speeds that it can go. We keep it on speed 1 considering speed 6 looks like it may be able to throw ME out of the swing. haha. It has a cute little mobile that turns and 4 various sound settings. Bubby can listen to music, bird sounds, nature, or night sounds. AND, it can swing back and forth OR side to side. Pretty nifty huh???

Yesterday, Bubby had his first afternoon with a babysitter. She's was Ryan's mom's best friend, and has been begging to keep an eye on the little guy, so we took him to her house yesterday and the two of us went to town and ran some errands then ate out together on a "mini-date"!! It was fun to eat with just the two of us, but we sure did miss Bubby while we were gone!

This is a new picture that Morgan just took for us over the weekend. I am going to make a collage of pictures of Bubby and I'm going to try to put the ones I'm going to use on the blog so everyone can see. I found a neat website http://www.pluggedinonline.com/movies/index.cfm for ones that watch movies, but don't want to watch anything inappropriate! You can type the title of a movie in, (leave off the, a, or an, in the title of the movie) and it will give you a specific review and will tell you if there is anything not appropriate and whether there is foul language. It even says things like, the Lords name was taken in vain. I was really impressed! So, I thought I would share this. We enjoy good videos from time to time and are always concerned because Hollywood doesn't always rate their videos in the way that they should. I typed in I don't know how many different movie titles and it takes you to a screen where it verifies that is the movie you want. By clicking on the movie title link, it takes you right to the review. Hope this benefits some of you all as much as it did me. I saved it to my favorite links on our home computer for future reference.

Good Thursday Morning!!!

I couldn't resist adding yet one more picture of his toes! haha...I thought this one was TOO cute when we wrapped him up in one of his soft, cuddly blankets and he curled his toes through it. Sweet Bubby and I are heading to town today to do a little shopping. I think he's even going to get a new paci!

The weather sure is humid here...makes it hard to breath when you head into the great outdoors! Still, I don't want to sound too much like I'm complaining because, I'm NOT!!! IT'S SUMMER! Hurray!

I have added yet more pictures to the "in progress" photo album! I am going to just remove the shutterfly album and end up deleting it completely. I have been pleased with this new one so far. It takes FOREVER to download my pictures, but I have just been doing it overnight when we go to bed. I will try to keep you posted, but I will be adding more to the current albums that are on there already as well as adding new albums. Also, I have gone back and tried to title the pictures to let you all know who's who!

Welp, I'm off to feed that sweet little baby boy of mine then get ready to shop till we drop. haha..not really.

SUMMER!!!!!!!!

Do I hear shouts of joy across the nation from fellow summer lovers??? It's the official first day of summer!!! Although, I must say, it is much more humid out here than I would like. BUT...alas!...I am not complaining, I would much rather put up with the humidity than the freezing cold of winter. Brrr...enough about chilly weather. Celebration is at hand! Summer! Bubby and I are VERY excited because this is his FIRST summer ever! haha I'm sure he'll just love it! Well, it's past my bedtime so ta ta for now! Jessica

PS!!! I have finally gotten one album of photos on the "in progress" site. I'm sure you all have already seen most of them. I tried to add a couple that I thought I didn't add in the other blog so there could at least be something new.

Sunshine!

Well, we had quite the storms and rain over the weekend so it's always nice to see the sun pop back out!
Seeing that the shutterfly photo albums were going to make people sign up to leave a comment, I went ahead and signed up for a different site that will allow anyone to comment without having a username. I'm sorry that this has been so back and forth. There isn't even one picture up on the new photo album site as I type this, but I'll give you guys the address anyway. Ryan's first Father's Day was yesterday! He had a wonderful day... Bubby bought him the cutest card from the both of us and even signed his name! (*wink...wink*) Ryan said he sure did think Bubby had awfully good hand writing for his age. I told him I was pretty impressed too! :)

Thanks VERY much to Erica and my husband Ryan...I have FINALLY succeeded in putting a Links section into this website! I have started on a place for the photo albums in shutterfly but only have a few there. You can still view the photos already posted at my old site. I added both my old site and the shutterfly site so you can start visiting them. New to this Blog!

I'm new to this blog and have no idea what I'm doing so far. I really want to add pictures and everything but I looked at Erica's blog and realized she has hers in her link section which I still haven't figured out how to create either. AHHH!
