I finally got a picture of her smiling with her eyes open. So, Morgan, this picture is for you! =) She smiles all the time...especially when you talk to her in a high-pitched voice.
These are Macie's new little fairy wings. I took this picture before I got the bright idea to bend the wings so that they looked more realistic.
This is after I bent the wings up a little. I have one really cute shot of her where she looks like she's about to take flight.
*Prayer request: Continue to pray for me please. The incision that I told you guys that is now leaking milk, has turned red. I'm not sure if it's blood or what is wrong. I called the Doctors office and am now waiting to hear back from them.

Of Hair and Funny Faces

So, here's my new hair-do. It's a fun change and Ryan and I both like it. I have part of it pulled up in these pictures.
This funny face was just too cute to pass up on posting. Macie Jade just loves her swing. I love her swing too when I'm trying to get something accomplished. =)
Here's another picture of my hair that I took. Sorry this is all so short but it's WAY too late to be up posting, but #1. I couldn't sleep #2. Macie was up needed fed. So what else would I do but post while I had the opportunity.

Late Nights
Isn't she just sweet?!...that is...until 9:30 pm to 12:00 am. Yes sir, that's right, we have one "colicy" baby on our hands from 9:30 to 12:00. Talk about needing God's grace. She doesn't want to be fed, she doesn't want to be held, she doesn't want to be put down. AHHHHHH! Any advice out there to remedy a colic?
-
On a good note, I do love this sweet little picture though. She is a fist sucker. She trys to find her tiny hand a lot of the time to suck on. It's really cute.
Ty LOVES holding her. He begs for her all the time these days. Most of the time we'll sit with him and let him hold her so he doesn't become jealous of her. Plus, I've never seen him act calmer and more gentle than he does when he holds her. It's sweet. In the picture he's about to do his karate move. He flings his hand out and says "Haaaa-Taaaa."
This is my big boy now! I can't get over how fast he's growing. I think he gets taller everyday. He trys to say new words just about everyday too.
- Odds & Ends-
- I got my teeth cleaned yesterday. What a great feeling.
- I had the chance to interpret for John Edwards, but got the notice too late. They sent me the email request the night before and I didn't get it until about 3 hours before the event.
- It's time to go back for my 6 week check-up this Thursday.
- Annoying...I discovered that I AM leaking milk out of my incision. They said it won't hurt anything, but will just be a messy annoyance until I finish breastfeeding.
- Ryan starts ANOTHER class for five weeks on Thursday nights, which means he'll be gone Tuesday and Thursday nights now for at least the five weeks. =(
- His official hire-in date in Oct. 29. They called to ask him to report to work then. =)
- Andrea's sister had her baby. I believe he weighed 8 lbs. 3ozs. But then again, with my brain the way it is, I could have just made that up. I do know that his name is Titus.
- Pray for my brand new neice Remmi, she has something called hip displasia (I don't know how to spell it) They're going to try double diapering for a while to see if that corrects the problem. If not, she'll have to wear a cast with a rod in between her legs for a while. Her hip pops, so pray that the diapering trick will be affective.

Magazine Anyone?
Hee..hee! This is what all you newer moms have to look forward to. Ty's been asking to go potty here lately so I figured I wouldn't discourage that and just see where it goes. It would be SUPER to have just ONE child in this household in diapers. =) Sadly, he always comes and tells us after the fact by pointing to his diaper and saying "poo-poo." He has pee-peed in the potty a couple times, but only after you hand him his deer magazine. Until you do, he points and says "deeah...deeah" over and over. (that means deer by the way)
I did a pretty sorry job taking this picture but it was the best I could do at the moment. I just had to get a snapshot of her in that cute little outfit. We were running out the door heading for her baby shower so I didn't have time to sit her up and put something PINK behind her. I still think it's cute though. =)
THIS picture just kills me. She looks SO upset. Have no fear, I rescued her right after I took the picture. lol

Other news from the home front would be that my test results came in for the lump they removed. Sorry it's taken me so long to post about it. It was a ruptured cyst and completely benign so we were SO thankful for that! I'm still healing from the surgery, but doing really well.

Ryan starts his new job Oct. 29. They pushed back his hire in date so that he could have more time to finish his degree. Once he hires in, he will work day shift for three months for training, then go to shift work which will make it hard to attend class. So, they pushed him back till Oct. 29 to give him a little more time. He will be finished with his classes in March, so now he'll only have to worry about missing a few times during the last two months of school.

Kidz..Korn...& Kabinetz =)
One of my "kidz" eating corn on the cob. Who would've thought he would LOVE eating corn on the cob as much as I do. It's pretty hilarious. He begs and begs for it when we sit it on the table to let it cool just a bit before we eat. Just enough butter and just enough salt and you have a DELICIOUS treat!
I just love Macie Jade in yellow! Well, I love her in anything, but you know what I mean! She definetly has the 'newborn arms' in this picture. It's so cute how newborns little arms and hands fling out (any of you moms out there remember what I'm talking about.)
This is a solution for when your child is practically pulling your clothes off wanting attention. Problem solved = cheerios, a couple kitchen utensils, and sitting up on the counter where mommy's working. I continued fixing the meal beside him while he entertained himself with his "non-toy" toys. He thought he was big stuff sitting up there! =)
