Car Crash
We're all FINE...
I thought I'd start out by saying that. Last weekend we spent with mom and dad having Christmas with them and my brother, sister and her family. Sunday we went to church with mom and dad, then stayed and ate at the fellowship they had afterwards.
Sunday afternoon Ryan, the kids, and I started off for home. It's a five hour drive so we were trying to get an earlier start this time. I had the cruise set on 70 MPH, which is the speed limit now so everything was fine until this person in a dark, navy-blue Crown Victoria backs out from the Emergency lane RIGHT in front of us. I never even saw them sitting in the emergency lane, but Ryan did.
All I saw was when the whole back end of their car whipped out in front of us.
I swerved to the left to miss them and then back to the right, but at that speed the vehicle when out of control and we flipped. The ceiling caved in on my side and hit me in the head.
The kids were both asleep. As soon as we started to wreck, I started praying that God would take care of us and keep us and the kids safe. Apparently I was praying outloud because Ryan said he remembers hearing me.
After we flipping across the median, which was a huge ditch, we landed back on the wheels with the nose of the SUV pointing down into the ditch. We immediately looked at each to make sure we were okay and then jerked back to look at the kids. Both started crying, but they were perfectly okay.
We were blessed to have two doctors, a nurse, and an off-duty EMS worker stop and help us. The driver of the vehicle that backed out in front of us took off.
Ryan has a cut above his eye, but didn't need stitches and a bruise on his side and arm.
The kids are AWESOME! Not ONE scratch or mark.
I have a couple scratches and part of my hair was cut off on the top where the ceiling caved in and hit me in the head.
Other than that we're all doing great. Pray for us though. This was not the best time financialling to be going through this. I requested car rental with our insurance but somehow managed to not receive it on our policy so right now we're paying out of pocket for the rental until the insurance figures everything out.
Plus, we're still paying on the Mitsubishi and now we're going to have to find a new vehicle, so please pray for us! I'll add pictures if I get any.
Love from us!

I've been tagged!!!
Morgan tagged me with a meme. I am supposed to post 7 random and/or weird things about myself.
- If I walk past a hair salon (no matter where it is...in the mall, walmart, etc...) I have the silliest hankering to go in and purchase a bunch of hair supplies such as gel and hairspray. All those bottles are so cute and colorful and I don't use most of it, but I still want to go in and get some every time I pass by. =)
- I have to feel of everything when I'm shopping. Usually I'll scratch it with my right index finger.
- I don't like my food to touch on my plate and I eat one thing at a time.
- I used to barrel race my horse and I loved it.
- I love to read my books out on the rooftop. I used to do it all the time when I lived at home, but now that I'm married I haven't been able to do that anymore.
- I can say the books of the New Testament backwards. Haven't quite mastered the Old yet.
- My hair was naturally straight till I started having babies. Now it's kinky unless I straighten it. It's easier with the kids to just put gel in, scrunch and go. =)

Moments from Thanksgiving
Cousins at play...
-
Isn't this photo cute? I peaked into the play room and four of the cousins were playing intently around the toy table. I ran and grabbed for my camera and rushed back to snap this shot. Next year, Macie and Remmi will be able to join in on the fun.
-
Speaking of fun...ahem...Mom, Jennifer, Michael, and I ventured to take all 6 kids shopping with us to the after Thanksgiving day sale. Are we nuts or what? They were actually all GREAT and it couldn't have went better. We rented a double stroller for Ty and Brodi but only had Jennifer's single stroller for the girls. So, we decided to go ahead and try to squish them both in next to each other. Sadly, we didn't have a camera, but we did get pictures on mom and Jennifer's camera phones.
It was the CUTEST thing. Macie and Remmi cuddled right up to each other and strolled around contentedly all day long. EVERYONE thought they were twins. TOO precious!
Mom bought the four youngest cousins matching outfits. This is the best that we could do to get them all together. Mom and dad's camera have a couple cuter pictures on them I believe, but this was the best that got taken with mine. It's still cute, but hopefully when we see them at Christmas we'll be able to manage a better picture. Jennifer and I were holding the kids.
Our future family musicians. It was SO funny. Brodi got the guitar and Ty got the little piano and they were playing away together. It was pretty comical.

Pray for Ty and Macie, they are both sickly this week, so it's been pretty hectic around our household.

Just for Jodi
Remember this dress Jo? I just HAD to take her picture and post it for you. I can't believe that she's already wearing it. It's not the best picture of Macie, but it was all I could do with Ryan rushing me out the door. lol

Sweet Moments
My Grandma the lives in Ohio made this precious sweater set! Isn't she so cute in it? Please keep my Grandma in your prayers if you will. I just found out that she's in the hospital.
I couldn't believe I actually caught this on camera. What a sweet moment this was. Ty crawled up onto the couch and layed back next to Macie. He's so gentle with her...it always shocks me since he's such a rough and tumble little boy. I thought it was too sweet.
Will I ever tire of dressing my little girl up in girley clothes? I think NOT! I can't resist taking pictures. Ryan laughs at me since everytime I put her in an outfit I run for the camera. Hopeless.

A Hamper Full of Fun
What can possibly be more fun than playing inside your clothes hamper? Ty was such a hoot the other day. He would pull the hamper over his head and put his arms straight down to his sides so it would fall all the way down over top of him. Then he'd run around the house. Even funnier is when he'd come up behind you and say "Boo!" to scare you in the scariest hamper way. haha
Another shot of Ty getting situated in his hamper. Such imaginations. Isn't it great?!
Ty's helping his Great-Papaw Leon. He thinks he's big stuff here.
