Isn't she just sweet?!...that is...until 9:30 pm to 12:00 am. Yes sir, that's right, we have one "colicy" baby on our hands from 9:30 to 12:00. Talk about needing God's grace. She doesn't want to be fed, she doesn't want to be held, she doesn't want to be put down. AHHHHHH! Any advice out there to remedy a colic?

On a good note, I do love this sweet little picture though. She is a fist sucker. She trys to find her tiny hand a lot of the time to suck on. It's really cute.
Ty LOVES holding her. He begs for her all the time these days. Most of the time we'll sit with him and let him hold her so he doesn't become jealous of her. Plus, I've never seen him act calmer and more gentle than he does when he holds her. It's sweet. In the picture he's about to do his karate move. He flings his hand out and says "Haaaa-Taaaa." 
This is my big boy now! I can't get over how fast he's growing. I think he gets taller everyday. He trys to say new words just about everyday too.
- Odds & Ends-
- I got my teeth cleaned yesterday. What a great feeling.
- I had the chance to interpret for John Edwards, but got the notice too late. They sent me the email request the night before and I didn't get it until about 3 hours before the event.
- It's time to go back for my 6 week check-up this Thursday.
- Annoying...I discovered that I AM leaking milk out of my incision. They said it won't hurt anything, but will just be a messy annoyance until I finish breastfeeding.
- Ryan starts ANOTHER class for five weeks on Thursday nights, which means he'll be gone Tuesday and Thursday nights now for at least the five weeks. =(
- His official hire-in date in Oct. 29. They called to ask him to report to work then. =)
- Andrea's sister had her baby. I believe he weighed 8 lbs. 3ozs. But then again, with my brain the way it is, I could have just made that up. I do know that his name is Titus.
- Pray for my brand new neice Remmi, she has something called hip displasia (I don't know how to spell it) They're going to try double diapering for a while to see if that corrects the problem. If not, she'll have to wear a cast with a rod in between her legs for a while. Her hip pops, so pray that the diapering trick will be affective.

Awwwwwwwwwww! I just absolutely love love love this picture of Macie! That is one of the sweetest baby pictures I've ever seen (my babies excluded of course hehehe). Really, it is so sweet I just adore it!
Glad to hear all is going well enough for you. I'll be praying for little Remmi - that is a unique name, is it short for something? You'll have to post us a pic of her soon.

Jess, Those are the sweetest pictures!! I love that picture of Macie. I'm praying Remmi's hip heal with out the cast. I'll pray Macie starts sleeping better. I've seen pictures of April's Titus and Jennifer's Remmi they are both adorable!!! Lots of Love!! ~Britt
Oh so cute! Gabe was born sucking his fist. lol He knew how to find it day 1!!
Gabriel was also collicy at first. A friend told me to cut out dairy products and corn because those are both troublesome. Sure enough, he cleared up in a few days. He had the exact symptoms Macie has. I had to stay away from milk till last month! But, it was worth it to have him sleep and not be gassy and collicy! I'm slightly allergic to corn, so after weaning myself I've just stayed off of it. :-) My skin is much clearer. haha

Brooklynn was colic , like when she was 2 mo. or so. But I didn't breastfeed, but the only thing that would make her stop crying was us walking her outside. Mind you this was july, and very hot out, but we took turns doing it. that was the ONLY thing that would make her stop, and as soon as we walked in the house, she went off. It was crazy actually. It is very hard on a mother at times also. just hang in there! hope she calms down. It lasted about 2 wks with my child.

Thanks for the updates. I love hearing about your life and kids. I hope her Colic ends soon..that can be rough! I'll be praying for you and your little one.

I have had a friends friend who had the hip dysplasia. She ended up in the cast, but it's fine now. I know the cast thing is very much an inconvenience, but worth it in the long run. BUT I really hope and pray that this diaper works..I've never heard of it. How does it work?

I am going to be soooooooooooo jealous if Mom and Morgan get to see you at the revival in Elkton on Friday night!! Wish we could be there ... but we just can't do the 4 hour drive for the service!
