IT'S OFFICIAL!!!

OK...I finally found the time to sit and add some stuff! Ty is officially eating baby food now!!! (I still nurse him but we've added in baby food) He absolutely loves it so far.

It's funny to watch him! I started him out on sweet potatoes and after the first couple days, he's gotten to be the little pro on eating from a spoon. The first try was pretty hysterical..he wanted to suck in the food off of the spoon. VERY cute! We're going to try carrots next and see what he thinks of those.

Terry- I thought you'd want to know, (and everyone else too...lol) Ryan and I went to some church friends of ours house today after services and fellowshipped. Their little girl is almost 1 year old...she will be next month and isn't that much bigger than Ty. Ashley *her momma* and I laid them both on the floor beside each other to see size difference...well wouldn't you know that flirty little Ty of mine...reached right over and laid his hand on her cheek, like he was holding her face! It was the sweetest thing and of course neither one of us had a camera within reach and by the time we DID reach them, the moment was gone.

Also, he laid their looking at her the entire time cooing and talking non-stop. Little stinker. He got rocked to sleep by one pretty girl from church during the meal (we had afternoon services today for the fifth Sunday) and then held through the afternoon service by yet another pretty girl whose heart he seems to have stolen. lol...it's hopeless.

A MILESTONE......MISSED!
Yes...we missed one of his milestones. *sniff* Ashley had Ty in the floor trying to help him roll over. She'd lay him on his side then push him on over. He seemed to be having a ball. Well she laid him on his belly and ran to the kitchen for something, Ryan and I and Matt were watching our movie and Ashley came back and said..."Hey, did you roll him over???" Uh...NO! The little stinker was laying there pretty as you please on his back!!! He had rolled himself over for the first time and we ALL missed it! The four of us and all gotten on the floor with him a few weeks ago and tried to encourage him but he never did do it! haha...no he's done it..and we missed it! And OF COURSE, he never did do it again the whole evening. Figures.

I believe that's all for now blogger friends! Start praying that he'll sleep through the night for me. I'm SOOO exhausted. He gets up at 12:00, 3:45, 6:00, and then in between 7:30-8:30 official wake up and won't go back to bed time. Maybe with the added food instead of just breast milk, he'll sleep longer...we'll see!

Oh yes!!! I almost forgot, Ty now has a new carseat too! A local business is going out of business and has a good sale running on all their baby stuff, so before they all sold out, we went ahead and bought him another carseat. He's getting so big, it won't be long before he won't fit into the infant carseat anymore. This new can be a rear facing for babies 5-30 lbs, then forward facing for toddlers 20-40 lbs. Pretty nifty huh? So he should be in this chair for a while!!! It's big and comfy looking! I may take his picture in it and post it later for you guys to see! Ta ta!

I have more I need to add to this post but I'm in a rush to get us ready to go to town! Need those groceries and we're FINALLY getting to go grocery shopping! I'm so excited! Have no fear though..I'll get back on soon and add some more updates!!!
