Ty's litte face!

If you all had any idea how hard I've been trying to post a picture, you would all cry out in sympathy! haha...I've had the worst time today. This is the first picture I've actually gotten to show up so far. I have quite a few others I was wanting to post.

Ty seems to be over his sickness and back to his little self.

The rest of us are doing much better too!

Exciting news: we had a girl come forward to profess salvation and ask for baptism! It was really exciting! It's always awesome to see the Lord working in people's lives.

Wow!!! It sure is windy here today...the wind blew my swing over on the back porch and sounds as if it may blow our windows in as well...yikes. I hope our little white house stands firm!

Mom note: Boudreaux's Butt Paste (I know, I know...I didn't make up the name to it) is the BEST diaper rash cream that you can get! In the experience of myself and now my friend that I loaned it to to try out on her little girl, we've had amazing results. It's the only thing that would clear her little girl up and has worked wonders on Ty's rashs too! It's very creamy and nothing like that hateful old Desitin.

Hey Jessica...THIS picture is worth a thousand others.. just gorgeous!
I must say that the little piece of heaven gets cuter everyday. Is he still winking at all the girls?

That is so nice about your uncle Jessica!
I have found in my job of nursing that the Lord is so GOOD about not giving up on people and speaks to them right to the very end.
I once knew a man who was dying at the nursing home. He was French, so it was rather hard to talk to him about salvation.
Anyways, when I knew that he was dying and there just seemed no hope in reaching him, I asked one of my Christian friends who was French to come in and see him.
She did just that and when he saw her, he said, "Last night I dreamed I was in heaven".
Francis said to him, "And would you like to be in heaven when you die?"
"Oh yes!", he replied.
That is exactly what my friend wanted to hear and she started to tell him in English[in politness for me] how he could be sure of heaven.
I told her, "Oh Francis...Please tell him in FRENCH!",
And so she did.
I am sure that he understood Jessica, because a couple of days later when he was on oxygen and I went by his room I ased him,' Mr. Fortin, Is everything OK?"
Well that little Frenchman just shook his head, yes and certainly everything WAS OK Jessica!!
He passed away the next day and it was on a Sunday.
I believe that we will see that man in heaven thanks to the Lord who is not willing that ANY shouod perish!

You, Ty and Ryan have a good day now!!....Love Terry

Hello Terry! So glad you're back! We've sure missed you around here at our little white house. You've just become a part of our family and it was sad without you.

Yes Ty is still winking at all the girls...smiling...giggling...flirting ridiculously with them too..haha

It did give us great hope about my Uncle after we had heard from my Aunt. That's really amazing that you had a friend who could speak French so that she could talk to him. God is good!

You have a great day too! Love and Hugs Jessica

Amber...Thanks girley, I like the close ups too. I think they're so sweet. I can't wait till he's grown enough where I can get him "feeding the ducks" like that pic of Gavin..that's the cutest thing ever!

Quote: "b/c desitin works wonders for me!!" Uh...Amber...I was talking about putting it on your babies...not on yourself! hahah...just kidding. Well like I said..."in my experience" everybodys different and has to find what suits them best... what I like about the butt paste is that it creams on and wipes off so easily at diaper changes. It's not so thick and hard to get off...when their little bottoms are sore like that I don't like having to swipe with elbow grease to get it off. Plus it clears him up so nicely. But like I said...each Mom to their own! lol Love and hugs, Jessica

Hey, Jess, When Brooke kept getting an infection( to where it hurt when she'd pee, etc) My neighbor(a nurse) told me about a baking soda bath! You work it like a sitz bath -put them in the tub and set their butt in a seperate pan filled with warm water and about a cup of baking soda!!!wow wow wow! It worked over night...mind you this is an infection that I'm talking about, but I am like you and just love passing along great news! If you ever have something that is so bad that you don't want a diaper on him right away then this can sometimes be an option!
te he! I'm like Amber and use desitin., but I have also found that " Bag Balm" (used for cows udders and a few other things-found in the pet isle) works great( even though it sounds crazy). My chicklets have had so many different types of rashes ( yeast, strep, reg. , etc) that I have needed to experiment!including needing to use Monostat! It's great when you can hear of a few more options that really work! I love your Mommy tip postings, their great .I've heard of the Butt paste but I haven't yet used it.(we found out that Sean is allergic to baby powder and some creams that have alot of scents)I'm would like to try the paste and see how it comes out in the "end"! LOL!

Love you lots Jess!
