Well, another day has now passed. Can someone please come and take care of Ty while I do a clean sweep of my house? Someone...anyone??? Seems like sometimes I can't get a thing done during the day. Ty has been very fussy today and by this evening after we called the nurse line we resolved the problem and he's all better now. Poor guy.
Ryan, Ty and I all went for a nice long walk this evening. Ty got to ride in his new "Caddy" of a stroller and Ryan and I took turns pushing. It was such a nice evening for a walk but I was sure exhausted by the time we got home.
On a rather HORRID note...I had one of the worst experiences of my life last night when I got in our vehicle to ride home and felt something run up my neck. I swiped at it thinking it only to be my over-active imagination. To my horror (it's past dark now mind you and hard to see) I saw something run across my lap, so I swiped at it again. As soon as I did I felt it run down and back up my leg. In a panic (we were now backed out into the middle of the road) I jumped out of the vehicle doing my heebee-jeebee dance trying to rid myself of any creepy crawlys when we saw IT!!! A HUGE BROWN SPIDER!!!! AHHHH...On the floor board of my side ran an enormous brown spider...I still get the willys and can feel it running up my neck at this very moment. Ryan killed it and told me to get back in the car...which proceeded to be a 2 minute argument over I was NOT getting back in THAT car and have something else crawl on me to which he argued that he had DEFINETLY killed the spider and there was nothing to be afraid of. Well...I beg to differ! If it had run up his neck and leg, he wouldn't have wanted to get back in either.
So, I guess that's my excuse for getting nothing done today...I was recooperating from my trauma!
I am adding some of the pictures our dear Morgan took to my Photo album if anyone cares to browse. They're really good! (Thanks Morgan)
Tomorrow, Ty and I will be heading to the store to buy the paint for our kitchen! VERY exciting! Once we get everything done, I'll be adding some finished pictures of our cute little white house so all can see. Ryan still has to put Ty's pictures and letters up on his room walls then I'll get some of his room on here. It's just adorable.
I know this is the FOREVER long blog but I have just one last thing...Jo...if you're reading...I'm going through all my baby stuff and I'm fixing up a BIG box to bring you if you're interested! It's going to be a conglomeration of a bunch of stuff, from diapers to clothes to who knows what else!!! You'll have to let me know if you want it!
Till later dear friends....

9 Say It Here:
Hey Jessica! Bugs must be out thick here lately. You and Jane see spiders and I had something crawling on me while mowing the yard last night. I hate going under the apple, pear and peach trees down back. There are always creepy crawlies down there. I do the heebie jeebie dance on the lawn mower. Not a pretty sight. One time I got one of those little spider things where the baby ones go running everywhere on me. Talk about dancing! OOOHH!
Little Ty is so precious. I just can't wait for grandbabies... nieces... nephews... just anything to hold! They are so adorable!
Got to get Tim off to work. Britt is getting her hair shortened and layered today. She's excited!
Take care.
Donna
Dear Jessica...Bernie and I are on our way to the "office" but I just thought I HAD to write you a short note.
When we were little kids like Ty Mom used to use us for her floors. She would put wax on them and then put us kids on a blanket and swirl us around and around on the floors to buff them up good and shiny! Ha!!! Love Terry
Yes Donna I think the bugs are thick out this year. But my strongest fear is for those eight legged arachnids! I just HATE them! I definetly feel for you about having the babies running everywhere. Yuck! I remember when I lived at mom and dad's, I would mow under the apple tree and it never failed that SOMETHING would get on me!
Thanks! I think Ty is pretty precious too. Next time we're in for a visit you'll just have to come over and snatch him from someone. ;)And soon you'll have Jo's baby to hold...if you can get to him/her through their whole family that's going to be lined up and waiting. haha.
Terry, I'll have to keep that idea in mind for when we're done remodeling and I can actually see my kitchen floor! haha. Right now everything is everwhere and things are a mess. One of these day's it's all going to come together!
Jessica
Hey, Jessica !!!!!!!
Of course I'm here reading ... I read you and Morgan everyday !!!!!!! =)
Oh! poor little Ty ... I'll bet the reason why he's fussy is that he's needing a little "Aunt" attention ... I'll gladly volunteer to come hold him while you clean house !!!!!!! =D =D You know it's probably a good thing we don't live in walking distance of each other or I'd drive you crazy coming over to play with the little fellow !!!!!! =D
Ooooh! That is SO gross about the spider ... I sure wouldn't have wanted to get back in that car ... oooh! I hate spiders !!!!!
Yes! of course I'm intrested in the baby things ... and don't forget I also want all the new Mom advice you've got ... You get to go thru it all before me so you can warn me in advance !!!!!!!! =D =D
Have a great day girl ... I'm off to go see the new pictures you loaded !!!!!!!!! =)
Jo
Hey Jo,
Yes I hate spiders too! You just come on over and drive me crazy anytime you want too! Well I'm glad you want the baby stuff...I've got a pretty good box filled already. I'm sure you'll get gobs of stuff, but it's always fun to get more to go through! Don't feel obligated to keep a thing.
I'll have to call you and tell you all about the fussy part...it's very good mommy advice.
The power went out so it only downloaded not even half the pictures I had selected. I had 40 and it only got 14 before it was cut off. Hmmm...guess I'll add more tonight.
Jess, What size is Ty wearing? Someone wanted to know. Thanks! Love ya! -Britt =)
He wears mostly 3-6 months now. :) Jessica
Dear Jessica...We just back from my spending most of Bernie's money on electronics. Ha!!
You were mentioning about painting. I think you better get a hold of Donna right away. Sure and she would surely love to help you out and look after that baby Ty, but I have it from a reliable source[Donna] that she just adores painting!! Call her right away!
Now Jessica..that Ryan is a meanie!!That poor little defenceless spider!!
Don't mind me though Jessica. My mom used to call me Albert Schweitzer. I won't even step on an ant! hee!! hee!!
Betty and I are going out west next week to a high school reunion. We haven't seen those "kids" for forty years! One of them wrote to me and told me the thing that she remembers about me is when I was getting after my brothers and HER brother for killing grass hoppers. She has quite a memory. I couldn't even remember THAT!!
Those boys were sissies anyway!! I used to scare then when I chased them with a snake in my hand. Scared of garter snakes they were!!! NOT to scared to stomp on grass hoppers though! Ha!
My sweet Bernie catches hornets that have strayed into the house when that Shopper leaves the door open.
Bernie uses a glass and a piece of paper to catch them and then return them to their natural environment.
Now I really DO think that that little piece of heaven of yours would just love to be swirled around on a blanket shining the floors in your little white house!
Well, I am being way too long winded so will say so long for now.
I guess that Ryan is alright even though he did clobber that spider!! I guess you better keep him... Love Terry
Happy July fourth to the young man and the young lady and the new baby living in the little white house in Kentucky.!!
Just to think, It will be Ty's first fouth of July celebration!!
Here's hoping that the little tyke can at least keep his eyes open for the festivities!! Ha!!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!! These two Canadians in Welland, Ontario, Canada love you all!!
