Answered Prayers!

Thanks to all who have been praying for Ty. He seems to being doing loads better today. The coughing and sneezing are almost down to nothing and his little nose hasn't been as runny today. I've got to take some new pictures and get them posted soon!

Tomorrow doesn't bring too much fun...bills. I HAVE to sit down and get them all straightened out and the books taken care of. I'm SO behind that it's scary. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with it all and the Mary Kay business too. I had another skin care class tonight and it went okay. It wasn't as fun as the past two...I have another on Saturday night as well...I'm getting so booked up that it's crazy. At least the one on Saturday is nearer home. I did the second class at home and loved every minute of it! It was nice for the hostess because she didn't have to worry about cleaning her house and it was nice for me so that I wouldn't have to hawl all my stuff around. hmmm..enough about the stressful stuff...I need to relax and sit and breath a bit. hahaha...I think I'm a little stressed out. Once I get the bills made out and the books updated I will feel much better believe me. PLUS, anytime I look at my sweet baby I can't help but forget about all the worries and stresses and melt. =)

Babies, babies, and more babies!

I have some of the most EXCITING NEWS!!! One of the friends that I worked with at school is PREGNANT! Congratulations Leslie!!!!! She called me this afternoon and told me she had some news....I gasped and held my breath hoping that she was going to tell me that she was preggers...and SHE DID!!! We're SO happy for her and Dylan and can't wait to see her new baby boy or girl. I'm not sure of her exact due date, I just knew she was due in February sometime, so on the ticker, I put her due date as February 14, 2007! =) Ty is going to have so many close little friends! I have quite a few friends having babies:

I'm sure there's more but these are the ones I've kept more up to date with!
On another note, I did another facial class last night here at the house and it went great! They seem to be getting easier and smoother as I go. After I went through all my inventory and got it stocked on my shelves, I took a set of almost everything out for me to try. I have to say the Ultimate Set is the best, my skin is SO soft, and those Satin Lips are to die for! I haven't had to use my carmex since I started using the satin lips!

Pray for Ty, he's still sick. I'm going to call tomorrow and make him an appointment if he doesn't seem any better. He's such a sweetie...I just can't seem to brag enough about him! I'm SO thankful God gave him to us and I pray a hedge about him every evening when I put him to bed and every morning for throughout the day! I love him AND Ryan to death! Ryan's been a great daddy and he's a wonderful husband...God is good!

We're Alive!!!

Hello, hello! So sorry it's been so long...(we're still alive Terry) I know it's been a while since I've blogged anything. I am actually just about done in to be honest. That sweet baby Ty has been keeping me up at night and I feel like a zombie. haha. Actually, I'm visiting my mom and dad this week and attending a workshop for sign language interpreting. Poor Ryan is home all alone. Ty and I will be traveling home this coming saturday if we can stand being away that long...

Ty got to stay with "Aunt Jo" today...sure hope he was a good little boy!:) I've missed him something awful during the day while I've been gone to the workshop.

I promise (Lord willing) to get on here again soon and write more about what's going on, but for now I'm off to catch some Zzzz's. Mom has offered to keep Ty in their room overnight and I'm taking her up on it and catching some much needed sleep!

Midnight Musings...

Well, alas, it's again midnight and here I sit at my computer trying to catch a few "alone time" minutes to myself. Just wanted to let everyone know we had a couple NEW commenters! Thanks mom (my mom, Sue) and Leilani for stopping by and leaving their thoughts on our blog! We always enjoy hearing from the old faithfuls and new people too!

Update on Ty...he was still fussy today and ran a low grade temperature all day long. Poor little guy. What's a little man like him supposed to do in a mean old world like this. He did like his grape flavored baby Tylenol every four hours though. AND...he LOVES bath time, so we let him sit and play in his bath extra long today which allowed his temp. to come down some too. He seems to be improving...we would appreciate your prayers if you think of him. I am SO proud of him, Ty is getting to be a little "bed-time pro"!!! I have been working with him on when he goes in his bed, that it's sleep time and not play time or get back out of bed time...the first few times he would fuss around and I would stand there and pat his belly and shush or sing to him. Now it's to where when I put him in, he whines around a few moments then curls over and prepares for sweet dreams! I'm not a believer in the let them cry it out thing...I think it teachs them to be cryers...I want him to have a peaceful nights sleep and I want one too...so far just standing with him for a few minutes has worked great to where now I can lay him down...say goodnight and I love him and leave the room and he'll usually fall asleep...if he fusses I come back in, re-plug the paci..haha and shush him softly so he knows I'm there and feels secure. :)

I'm off to dreamland myself and hope that he sleeps in tomorrow! haha...fat chance of that! Maybe he'll sleep at least till 5...if I'm fortunate 5:30!!! Night!

Two months old!

My poor baby Ty...it's rough being two months old! Just ask poor little Ty who had his two months check up today. He was given THREE awful shots. Bless his heart. It broke my heart to let them hurt my baby. I know they help, but it sure is hard to watch. He looked shocked at first, then just cried. The poor nurse hurried so I could pick him up and cuddle him. He's been fussy all evening long and I've pretty much just sat around and held him and tried to comfort him cuz he had such a rough morning and I know he's still uncomfortable. He is now tucked away snug as a bug in his bed and seems to be sleeping soundly.

Here's the new stats:

Weight- 14.2 lbs
Height- 24 1/4 inches

Ty's Doctor says that he's a wonderful healthy boy and in the 90th percentile of everything. lol! Everybody goes on about what a BIG two month old he is, but he's our precious tiny baby boy and always will be! Amazingly enough he's not chunky...he's so long he's just all stretched out! What else can you be with a 6' 4" daddy! He's going to be a tall boy. Scares me to think about how soon it will be when he'll be looking down at me and I'll have to look up at him! YIPES! I like my boys tall though and I'm SO thankful God made him JUST the way that he is!
