Part II

Macie acting goofy. She's wearing a dress that is a little too short but works great for a shirt that my Grandma made for my sister I believe.

Macie LOVES little chairs. She has a princess couch and they have another chair that was mine when I was little that she likes to cart through the house and plop down in and read a book.

Last Sunday. Funny story about Ty's tie. (which he calls his "Ty-ties") I had their clothes laying out in the chair and ready to put on when he strolled out of bed into the living room.
-He looked over at the tie and said, "It's got pink in it."
-I was thinking to myself, "Oh no. This could be be a problem day with getting dressed. Fun." -But I said outloud, "Yep it sure does."
-To which he replied, "Wellllllll, I need to wash it off."
-I was have an internal battle of laughing and dred. So I persuaded, "Grandma bought you this tie. Don't you like it?"
-*processing....* Finally, "Yeah, I like it."
-Me,"whew!"

It's Dad's birthday tomorrow so I'll go ahead and give a big shout out HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! to Dad!! I love you!

Update by pictures! :)

Ty at the dinner after Grandma's funeral. Look at his poor little bruised forehead. He kept running into things and falling down.

Me. :)

These guys are favorite cousins. They have a blast together and always want to wear each others stuff. Ty had TWO suits with him so Brodi wore one of Ty's as well as Ty's black dress shoes while Ty wore Brodi's black dress boots. It was funny. They were both SO excited to be wearing each others stuff.

These are Grandma's great grandkids.

This pic is kinda dark but it's the most recent of our family. :)

I know, I know

We're without power right now and have been since last Tuesday morning. However...that's no excuse for not posting for the entire month of January! How in the world did that happen? Sorry peeps. I will try to do better. I'm in a slump of some sort and haven't been on my email either. I have over 2oo unread messages just waiting for me and don't make the time to sit down and read or answer them.

This week has been pretty hectic with the power being out and just to give a little summary: living in a little house, one room with 12 people is NOT fun. So right now we're house jumping to those family members that are kind enough to take us in. It would be much easier without the kiddies. This is pretty hard on them not have balance and routine. Yes, they adjust, but they're in other peoples homes, not allowed to touch things, don't have their toys...so its hard for them. However, Shane and Ryan's aunt Vicki and her husband have been extremely gracious in allowing us to intrude on their lives and stay with them. They have been more than a blessing to us and I hope that I have shown my gratitude towards them~

Lord willing I will be back up and running soon. Since our house still has no power, the internet access is touch and go. I'm on this aunts laptop at the moment getting some much needed bill paying taken care of. Pray that our power returns soon. I'm ready to be home.

I miss all you bloggie readers and writers! I'm sorry I have not made more time for you guys! Thanks for Stephanie for the harrassing comment on how terrible I've been! The harrassing works for sure!!! Thanks for being a faithful checker!!!!

Rolling in at the end of November...

Are my favorite little trick or treaters. :)

This is a borrowed photo since our USB ports are *gasp* STILL not functioning. I really DO need to take it and get it checked out by someone who actually know's what they're doing.

All that aside...Ty was a cowboy. Sadly you cannot see his boots and were a MUST for this picture. His Mamaw and Papa made his this outfit. But we wear the cowboy boots all the time now no matter what outfit we have on or where it is we're going. He calls the vest and chaps his "Wild wild west" which sounds more like "Wile wile wes."

Macie was a sweet little flower. It seems as if one of her little stems has meandered its way into her little mouth and set up camp. Yes...she's still sucking her thumb.

I'm staying insanely busy. A fellow blogger mentioned that a hot date was when you stroll through Walmart hanging on your honey's arm while the grandparents wait in the car with the kids...or in our case...just take them to a different part of the store or wait in the car...whatever works. I laughed till it was a little ridiculous over this considering that the BOTH of us, my honey and I, and nearly giggled with excitement as we strolled into Walmart, hand-in-hand, by ourselves. It felt like a mini-date and we were pumped about it. ha! So needless to say I found quite a bit of humor in her mention of the "wally world" hot date center.

More soon.

Official Bloggity Break

I will be away from my blog and getting to read and catch up on all my bloggity favorites for another couple weeks.

I'm sorry I haven't had to chance to update and let you know that we haven't dropped off the end of the earth. We're still here...just rushed and very busy.

I'll be back! I promise ;)
