I've been tagged!!!

Morgan tagged me with a meme. I am supposed to post 7 random and/or weird things about myself.

  1. If I walk past a hair salon (no matter where it is...in the mall, walmart, etc...) I have the silliest hankering to go in and purchase a bunch of hair supplies such as gel and hairspray. All those bottles are so cute and colorful and I don't use most of it, but I still want to go in and get some every time I pass by. =)
  2. I have to feel of everything when I'm shopping. Usually I'll scratch it with my right index finger.
  3. I don't like my food to touch on my plate and I eat one thing at a time.
  4. I used to barrel race my horse and I loved it.
  5. I love to read my books out on the rooftop. I used to do it all the time when I lived at home, but now that I'm married I haven't been able to do that anymore.
  6. I can say the books of the New Testament backwards. Haven't quite mastered the Old yet.
  7. My hair was naturally straight till I started having babies. Now it's kinky unless I straighten it. It's easier with the kids to just put gel in, scrunch and go. =)

Moments from Thanksgiving

Cousins at play...
-
Isn't this photo cute? I peaked into the play room and four of the cousins were playing intently around the toy table. I ran and grabbed for my camera and rushed back to snap this shot. Next year, Macie and Remmi will be able to join in on the fun.

Speaking of fun...ahem...Mom, Jennifer, Michael, and I ventured to take all 6 kids shopping with us to the after Thanksgiving day sale. Are we nuts or what? They were actually all GREAT and it couldn't have went better. We rented a double stroller for Ty and Brodi but only had Jennifer's single stroller for the girls. So, we decided to go ahead and try to squish them both in next to each other. Sadly, we didn't have a camera, but we did get pictures on mom and Jennifer's camera phones.
It was the CUTEST thing. Macie and Remmi cuddled right up to each other and strolled around contentedly all day long. EVERYONE thought they were twins. TOO precious!

Mom bought the four youngest cousins matching outfits. This is the best that we could do to get them all together. Mom and dad's camera have a couple cuter pictures on them I believe, but this was the best that got taken with mine. It's still cute, but hopefully when we see them at Christmas we'll be able to manage a better picture. Jennifer and I were holding the kids.

Our future family musicians. It was SO funny. Brodi got the guitar and Ty got the little piano and they were playing away together. It was pretty comical.

Pray for Ty and Macie, they are both sickly this week, so it's been pretty hectic around our household.

Just for Jodi

Remember this dress Jo? I just HAD to take her picture and post it for you. I can't believe that she's already wearing it. It's not the best picture of Macie, but it was all I could do with Ryan rushing me out the door. lol

Sweet Moments

My Grandma the lives in Ohio made this precious sweater set! Isn't she so cute in it? Please keep my Grandma in your prayers if you will. I just found out that she's in the hospital.

I couldn't believe I actually caught this on camera. What a sweet moment this was. Ty crawled up onto the couch and layed back next to Macie. He's so gentle with her...it always shocks me since he's such a rough and tumble little boy. I thought it was too sweet.

Will I ever tire of dressing my little girl up in girley clothes? I think NOT! I can't resist taking pictures. Ryan laughs at me since everytime I put her in an outfit I run for the camera. Hopeless.

A Hamper Full of Fun

What can possibly be more fun than playing inside your clothes hamper? Ty was such a hoot the other day. He would pull the hamper over his head and put his arms straight down to his sides so it would fall all the way down over top of him. Then he'd run around the house. Even funnier is when he'd come up behind you and say "Boo!" to scare you in the scariest hamper way. haha

Another shot of Ty getting situated in his hamper. Such imaginations. Isn't it great?!

Ty's helping his Great-Papaw Leon. He thinks he's big stuff here.

Because it's been so long...

Man, what precious kids. I love these little babies to death. Ms. Tori was so kind as to make Macie that sweet little red bow in her hair to surprise her mommy. Cute huh? I love her outfit today, so I just had to take pictures and share.

My little man is really growing up. He's getting so tall these days. I can't believe that he is already 18 months old. Even scarier than that is that he's as big if not bigger than a lot of the two year olds I know. He's big into running around the house with one of Ryan's hats on. It's cute.

Another shot of Macie Jade. She does better with the colic some nights than others, but we're still dealing with that. Other than at night, she's a little angel.

Work is going really well for Ryan. Right now they're training in the class room, so he says its actually pretty boring. Next week they're going out into the plant to work hands on, so I think he's looking forward to that.
-
My work is going good too. I miss the kids like crazy, but ever since I've been working I think I've only worked one week with all three days in it. We had Election day off and this week they wanted me to switch this Thursday to next Monday. So I only had to work today and then tomorrow, then I'm off until Monday and Tuesday and then OFF again for Thanksgiving break.
-
Working has definetly made me appreciate me time with the kids. I guess for a while I should change the name of my blog to "Tales Of A Stay-At-Home/Working Mom."

-
That's all for now. Just keep us in your prayers...leave lots of comments...I love to hear from you guys and see who all is keeping up with our family. Love and hugs, Jessica

So Sorry...

I know it's been FOREVER since I've posted. Yes, I have some new pictures and TONS of new news to tell you guys.

Ryan started his new job this past Monday. I started a job also, working Tuesday-Thursday from 7:20 -2:20. I'm interpreting at a couple schools for right now just until we can get ourselves out of some debt and ahead a little bit.

I cried and cried the night before I left the kids, but we and they love their babysitter. She's great. The kids are bathed and ready to go when I get there to pick them back up. Talk about that being nice. AND..she does their laundry for them while they're there too. I thought about just asking her to be our live in nanny for life. haha...just kidding! She's done such a great job so far and the kids love her. She's a fellow scrapbooker and my age, so we have lots in common to talk about.

Macie is growing like a little weed. She's just so pretty (I think so anyway) and SO much fun to dress up in all those cute girley clothes.

Ty is doing good too! He's talking more and more and trying to say new words everyday. He's just a blast at this age.
