Another Beautiful Day!

Well I think this is the last really warm day we're going to have for a long time. So, Ty and I got up this morning before the guests were out of bed and swang together on the back porch for a while. It was such a pretty morning and SO warm! I love swings!

Ty ALMOST got his feet into his mouth! hehe...

Amanda's girls argued over who was going to get to flush our fancy toilet! HAHA...and they say Kentuckians are rednecks. lol *Note: Our potty doesn't have the normal flusher, it has a knob on top that you pull up to flush, and her girls are just in awe of it! They seem to have to go "potty" all the time! haha*

We played Phase 10 and Amanda won with flying colors.

ARG! Has Jo had that baby yet?????

NEW MOM NOTE: Pampers swaddlers are the best diapers EVER!!! Huggies leak something terrible as well as the Parents Choice *in my experience* I've just started putting Luvs size 3's on him because he's almost outgrown the swaddlers which they only make up to a size 2. Luv's have been great so far too!

First Scouting Trip!

Ty went on his first scouting trip with daddy today! Have NO fear...mommy went too just to watch over our blogger baby. BTW (that means By the way...*for Rachel*hehe) that little camo jacket was one of my yardsale bargains!!! It's from baby gap and cost me $1. Woohoo!

Something Funny: I had a person ask me if Ty was a 1 or 1 and 1/2 today. I said, "Neither, he's going to be 5 months on Sunday." Okay folks...he's big but he's not THAT big. Good grief.

Ryan's back x-rays came back fine! Praise the Lord!! They think he's strained a muscle so he's put on light duty work for a while.

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE Papa Johns pizza? We ate some tonight...that should go well with my diet. haha...NOT! I didn't get to weigh in after church on Wednesday since we were all three home sick with the plague. So I couldn't update my weight ticker. I haven't made my mind up whether I'll weigh in Sunday or not, or just "weight" till Wednesday. *yeah yeah I know it was corney*

Suggestion: To all you new moms-to-be I suggest buying cotton jersey crib sheets. Ty sleeps SO much better on those than he does just the plain cotton because the plain ones are cold. The jersey feel like an old t-shirt so they're soft and warm. That's just a word from the now wiser stay-at-home mom. HEY...maybe I'll start adding mommy tips with my posts. There's a few of you guys who check this who are moms-to-be anyway...want some? =)

I HAVE FEET!!!

I think this pic is just histerical! Ty was swinging while Ryan and I were cooking supper when we noticed that he had noticed his foot! It was SO funny! He would pull his foot up in front of him and just stare at it like it was this new cool thing he'd never seen before! After a few minutes I guess his leg would get tired and he'd put it down. Then up it would go again. Thankfully, I've learned to keep the camera nearby for cases like these and got a funny shot of it.

Keep praying for Ty. He's gotten to be quite the little trooper now about taking his medicine, but he still isn't feeling good. Ryan hurt his back at work and hasn't been able to go in the last couple of days. AND, I still don't feel that great either. Aren't we just a mess? lol

Looking forward to seeing Amanda and her family this coming week! MAN, I've got to clean my house before they get here!!! YIKES!

Well, Ryan is sitting here with me tonight...usually he's in bed sawing logs *zzzzzzzzz* but he's up tonight and trying to get me off of here, so if this is just to short you'll have to blame him!

Wow this Beta blogger is awesome the way you can drag and drop things wherever and not have to worry with the HTML! I love it other than I can't seem to be able to use Hello with it which is a MAJOR issue!

Fresh Air

Today... our blogger baby and I went for a walk...since he's been sick and it was so..well hot outside today, I thought the fresh air would do him good!

SO, we strolled all the way from our house to Danny's house. *Ryan's dad*

Funny story about that...we think Ty should call Ryan's dad Grandanny! Wouldn't that be CUTE???!!!

I've got more pics...I thought they turned out pretty cute for him being sick.

The medicine administration still isn't going to well...he coughs and gags and puts on a real scene. Keep praying! We really appreciate them! Jessica

Funny things...

1. Ryan and I were driving along and saw someones shoes hanging on the power lines.
2. We drove a little further and saw someone elses shoe sitting in the middle of the road on the yellow line.
3. Then we started to wonder whether it was the same persons shoes and they just needed to get rid of a few pair so we got on the look out for more shoes.
4. After that...we hung on to our own shoes just in case it was some shoe snatcher! haha
5. Ryan sang "My Girl" and "Unchained Melody" to me on the way home...it was so funny AND romantic! I love when he's silly with me. It makes things fun when you can just be silly with each other and not have to feel silly.
6. Ty weighed 17 lbs at the Dr.'s office today.
7. I had a car salesman tell me just how good I looked...YIKES!
8. I drove all the way to Ryan's work at 2:30 just to find out I had missed him by a minute or two...phooey
9. A lady talked to Ty and I while we were riding IN the elevator today...which I hear is taboo!
10. At the Dr's office waiting room I wanted a book in a chair next to a man and his daughter for me to read to Ty. I asked the man, "Do you mind if I take this book." and he responded, "No, it's more than..." then stopped...I think he got confused between "It's more than alright" then realized I didn't ask him if it was alright and "It's fine" and didn't know how to fix it and just didn't finish saying anything at all and just looked down really quick and started fixing something on his little girls shirt. haha

Well...Sad news for our precious blogger baby! He hasn't been feeling very well the past couple days so I took him to the Doctor today who says that he has an upper respiratory infection as well as a middle ear infection in his left ear. So, please keep Mr. Ty on your prayer list if you would. We've got him on a couple medicines and he abosolutely doesn't like one of them. One tastes like bubble gum and he likes it...the other tastes like grape and he doesn't. Hmm...He has always liked his grape flavored Tylenol so I don't know why he doesn't care for this one but he sure doesn't. I'm going to try to mix it with fluids next time so it doesn't end up all over the front of his outfit and face again.

I know there's MORE I'm wanting to post but it will have to wait till later...I've gotta get to cookin'!!! Later, A Stay-At-Home Mom!
